We Need to Take the Next Step to Save the Hudson with Safe On-site Decommissioning
We Stopped the Dumping into the Hudson River! Now Help Us Pack the Room at NYS Decommissioning Oversight Board Meeting -- Demand NO RADIOACTIVITY IN OUR AIR AND WATER
We stopped radioactive waste from being dumped into the Hudson River! Now let's make sure that waste doesn't end up in anyone's air or water.
Join us on December 6 at 5PM at Cortlandt Town Hall before and during the New York State Decommissioning Oversight Board (NYS DOB) to tell Governor Hochul's agencies and decision-makers to safely store the radioactive waste from Indian Point on site, out of our air and water!

The NYS DOB is tasked with figuring out how to close the Indian Point plant safely, and it includes Holtec International, the company in charge of decommissioning the plant. The DOB meetings are the best opportunity we have to get our message to Hochul's administration and local officials.
Gather with us at 5 p.m. in Cortlandt before the meeting so we can grab seats and pack the room. Bring a sign in support of keeping waste on site and out of air and water! If you can, please stay for the meeting to give a comment in support of onsite storage of the radioactive waste at Indian Point!
