ZOOM WEBINAR:
Security & Nuclear Power, 9/28, 8 pm ET
The September 11, 2001 attacks on the U.S. using hijacked commercial aircraft heightened security concerns around the nuclear power industry. The hijackers flew flight training missions over New York’s Indian Point nuclear power station. United Flight 99 crashed just 130 miles from Pennsylvania’s Three Mile Island power station.
Nuclear security concerns include criminal and military-style acts -- armed intrusion, vehicles or missiles carrying explosives, and insider sabotage -- targeting operating nuclear stations or radioactive materials including nuclear waste.
Three Mile Island Alert security consultant Scott Portzline is hosting a Zoom webinar on this topic Monday, September 28 at 8PM ET. Register
